Statement of Principle
WFH is an independent, humanist, and progressive association that works for the right of the people to receive unbiased humanitarian assistance. We acknowledge the strife of the global south towards receiving high quality aid in the midst of war, often hurdled by political and diplomatic deadlocks.
WFH considers that;
War victims in the Middle East are entitled to receive high quality and effective aid; presenting hope for a better future.
War victims are not weak, on the contrary they radiate strength and inspire perseverance.
War victims of the Middle East are actual people, with dreams and aspirations in life, they are not just a statistic.
Commercializing humanitarian assistance and using beneficiaries as a marketing tool is unethical and poses a power imbalance threat. It is an invasion of privacy for vulnerable communities.
Humanitarian assistance is solidarity, not charity.
